Here we are, 2025 (yes this post is a bit late). We want to thank everyone that helped us make 2024 the wonderful year it was. We were so thankful for the opportunity to offer a portion of our garlic harvest to our wonderful customers again. We had a wonderful time selling at The Original Navan Market and will work on being their again if we are blessed with an appropriate garlic harvest.
This new year will hopefully see us reap the harvest of a slightly bigger garlic plot. We are working on cultivating some additional varieties into bulbs worthy of our customers. We are very much looking forward to spring and seeing the first shoots of garlic poking through the protective layer of hay! May we be blessed with the weather that results in large and tasty garlic.
While winter may be slower than the summer, the farm still manages to keep us busy. There are stalls and coops to be cleaned, cows and chickens to be fed. We have two very pregnant cows that should be calving within the next month or so. We are very much looking forward to the addition of two new healthy calves into the herd.
As the seasons progress we look forward to supplying updates regarding our homestead farm and hope everyone has a wonderful year until we meet again.
