Hey everyone. If you are like us and love sourdough bread but just don’t think you have the time to make it happen, well you are in luck. We discovered a recipe that only takes about ten minutes of work and makes tasty bread. Below is the recipe and our video of trying it out.
Super Simple Sourdough Bread Recipe:
– 4 ounces Sourdough Starter (100% hydration so equal parts water and flour)
– 12 ounces of water
– 1 pound 4 ounces of Flour
– 0.7 ounces Kosher Salt
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well mixed. Set aside, covered and at room temperature, until mixture has doubled in size or 20-24 hours. Remove from bowl and shape by rotating and sliding on the counter on a counter sprinkled with flour. Place dough in a lightly oiled cast iron dutch oven and cover. Let rest 1.5 hours. Bake covered at 425F for 45 minutes starting with a COLD oven. Remove cover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and dutch oven. Cool and enjoy!
